Permanent Position
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm
Salary: $45-$50 per hour (range based on experience and certification)

Responsibilities
As a Shop Foreman, a normal day would include:
1. Implement and manage an apprenticeship pathway.
- Instruct and demonstrate maintenance and repair procedures.
- Demonstrate and review the equipment work order.
- Establish and maintain shop organization and cleanliness by delegating roles and responsibilities to shop employees.
- Carry out shop employee performance reviews.
2. Shop organization.
- Work with the service manager to create a shop layout to provide a safe and productive work environment.
- Create tool management and identify any company tools and equipment needed for the shop.
- Train apprentices on shop organization and tool management.
3. Shop management Software solution (in conjunction with service manager).
- Implement the repair work order process.
- Implement p.m. service process.
- Implement equipment repair and p.m. schedule.
4. Leadership Qualities:
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic shop environment.
- Managing competing priorities, addressing urgent repair timelines.
- Maintaining effective communication and leadership during high-demand periods.
Qualifications
What do you need for this position?
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
- 4+ years of experience performing diagnostics and repairs on high-reach equipment is a strong asset
- Experience training apprentices
- Valid driver's license
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
