Position Title: Shop Maintenance Technician
Location: Richmond, BC
Permanent Position
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shifts: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM OR 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Wage: $35.00 to $40.00/ Hr.
You have Steel Toe Boots
Prior maintenance experience is a requirement to be considered for an interview.
A strong mechanical and technical aptitude will be considered an asset for this role.
Mechanical tickets are an asset
You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on shop machinery and equipment
Repair and modify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Maintain equipment records and create parts lists and time estimates
Train teammates on new equipment or modifications
Support installation of safety devices and machine guards
Advise on equipment purchasing and upgrades
Keep a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist management with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance
2-year technical diploma (mechanical, industrial, or electrical field preferred)
Strong knowledge of schematic diagrams and mechanical systems
Organized, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
Good communication skills – both written and verbal
Tech-savvy with ability to document work using iPads/computers
Additional training in electrical controls, welding, crane operation, or rigging is a plus
Physical and Working Conditions:
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks like reaching, kneeling, and standing for long periods
Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and weather elements
Work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, kneeling, standing)
Must follow safety regulations and handle equipment and chemical hazards
Use of personal protective equipment provided
