The regular schedule is 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, though you must be available for an initial training period during the afternoon shift. In the world of LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipping, the dock never stops, and we need an operator with a valid forklift ticket who can work independently to keep the freight moving. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers with precision, ensuring every pallet is placed perfectly for the next leg of its journey.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift to move LTL freight across the dock.
Load and unload various types of trailers, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
Work independently to prioritize shipments based on departure times.
Scan and track freight using handheld devices to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
Identify and report any damaged goods before they are loaded for transport.
Maintain a clean and organized dock floor to ensure a safe transition for the morning crew
Qualifications
Valid Forklift Ticket/Certification (Required).
Must be available for afternoon training before moving to the regular night shift.
1–2 years of experience operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift.
Previous experience with LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight is a major asset.
Must have CSA-approved steel-toed boots and high-visibility gear.
