Responsibilities
Crew Management: Directly supervise and schedule the daily activities of welders, installers, and laborers to hit project milestones.
Safety Leadership: Serve as the designated Site Safety Lead, conducting hazard assessments (FLHAs) and delivering safety training to maintain a zero-injury environment. Technical Execution: Accurately interpret shop drawings and blueprints to guide the installation of industrial handrails, mezzanines, and racking.
Operational Liaison: Coordinate with project managers and other trades to establish efficient work methods and maintain the master schedule.
Quality & Logistics: Resolve structural issues on-site while managing tool requisitions, equipment health (lifts, cranes), and daily progress reporting
Qualifications
Leadership Background: 3-5 years of supervisory experience specifically within industrial or construction environments.
Industry Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in the installation and assembly of structural steel.
Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in reading structural plans and technical drawings.
Physical Capability: Fit for heavy lifting, working at heights, and performing in extreme outdoor weather conditions.
Communication: Strong English proficiency with the ability to lead daily meetings and complete detailed site documentation
