Responsibilities
- Direct the daily workflow of the login department to ensure all incoming specimens are accurately processed and staged for the lab.
- Oversee the physical handling, cataloging, and transport of materials, including managing staff responsible for crushing, splitting, and pulverizing samples.
- Maintain data integrity by supervising the input of all client information and order details into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Resolve discrepancies regarding client instructions and act as the primary liaison for corrective actions and risk management.
- As the Sample Prep Manager, you will handle logistics for sample pickups and manage the procurement of essential inventory like labels and packaging.
Qualifications
- You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a technical field relevant to the laboratory industry.
- You bring at least three years of proven leadership experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
- You demonstrate the physical capability to assist with lifting and moving materials weighing up to 23kg when required.
- Your background includes a high level of proficiency with LIMS software and a strong understanding of SOP and QC adherence.
