Responsibilities
Responsibilities
As a Skilled General Labourer, your role will be diverse and integral to the production process. You will be entrusted with a variety of tasks that require precision, diligence, and a commitment to quality. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Machine Operation: Safely and efficiently operate various production machines and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines. This includes setting up, calibrating, and monitoring machinery to ensure optimal performance and output.

Production Duties: Actively participate in the assembly and production line, performing tasks such as drilling, cutting, and fastening components. Your work as a Skilled General Labourer will directly contribute to the creation of high-quality finished products.

Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure they meet strict quality standards and technical specifications. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting any product defects or deviations from the norm.

Material Handling: Manage the movement of materials to and from workstations, conveyors, and storage areas. This may involve loading and unloading items, ensuring that the production flow remains seamless and efficient.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing routine cleaning of your work area and equipment. You may also assist with basic preventative maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.

Documentation: Accurately complete production logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation, providing a clear record of your work and any quality control checks performed.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, team leads, and fellow production workers to achieve daily and weekly production targets. Your ability to communicate effectively and support your colleagues is crucial for success in the manufacturing & logistics environment.

Adherence to Safety Protocols: Strictly follow all company health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

Qualifications
Requirements
To be considered for this Skilled General Labourer opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Proven experience in a general labour, production, or manufacturing role is considered a strong asset.

Demonstrated ability to operate machinery and use hand/power tools safely.

Physically capable of performing job duties, including lifting up to 20 kgs.

Eligibility to work full-time in Canada.

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

A reliable and punctual work ethic with a proven track record of dependability.

Based in or able to commute to St. Thomas, Ontario, for a Monday to Friday day shift.
