Responsibilities
Perform precise cutting and trimming of wood components using a sliding table saw and other woodworking machinery
Ensure all final cuts meet specified dimensions and quality standards
Inspect pieces for defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments
Collaborate with production and assembly teams to ensure smooth workflow
Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any issues to supervisors
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in a woodworking, millwork, or custom fabrication environment
Must have hands-on experience operating a sliding table saw
Strong understanding of wood properties, cutting techniques, and safety practices
Ability to read blueprints, work orders, or cut lists
Detail-oriented with excellent measurement and finishing skills
CSA-approved steel toe boots required
