This role requires a strategic storyteller to help shape and execute digital strategies, focusing on connecting advisors to their professional networks. You will manage content strategies for acquisition, nurturing, and thought leadership, developing inspiring and engaging digital content that is consistent with corporate values, voice, and tone. The ideal candidate will possess excellent judgment and strong writing skills, effectively acting as one of the public voices for our client's brand online.
This is a 12-month contract requiring the talent to work four days per week onsite at the client's office in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities
• Lead Digital Content Strategy: Develop and execute impactful digital communications strategies and content, with an in-depth focus on social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Strategic Planning & Execution: Provide input and assist with identifying, planning, managing, tracking, and reporting on national digital marketing initiatives.
• Content Development & Management: Strategize and create content for public-facing digital channels, manage digital marketing campaigns, and design/deliver internal digital sales enablement tools and materials.
• Sales Enablement Focus: Translate thought leadership content into advisor-friendly terminology and actionable client insights. Develop customizable sales enablement tools and approved templates (e.g., for bios, events, referrals) that allow advisors to quickly and easily share relevant content with clients and COIs.
• Web & Digital Maintenance: Lead content development and maintenance for web properties and future digital tactics, including email campaigns and internal sales tools.
• Compliance & Reporting: Act as the primary digital marketing liaison with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence for all digital marketing materials. Create and maintain reporting to track and analyze campaign results, marketing expenses, and other management information.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive working relationships with key internal teams and cross-functional partners, including Marketing, Legal, and Business teams, to ensure seamless execution.
• Market Intelligence: Coordinate market research and gather, analyze, and report information on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive activities.
Qualifications
• Digital Communications Experience (5+ years): Minimum of five years in digital communications, with an emphasis on social media copywriting, content creation, and account management.
• Social Marketing Expertise: Proven experience with social selling or marketing, specifically in sourcing and developing unique content to help specialized sales professionals increase business (e.g., Mortgage Specialists, Brokers).
• Content Strategy & Editorial Calendar: Demonstrated ability to maintain and drive an editorial calendar and produce clear, engaging content across various subject matters.
• Strong Writing & Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to parse complex information into digestible, high-quality content for diverse audiences.
• Platform & Measurement Knowledge: Passion for and in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, audience engagement strategies, and experience with digital media metrics and measurement tools.
• Partnership Building: Proven ability to build strong, collaborative partnerships with stakeholders across marketing, lines of business, and specialized sales teams.
• Self-Starter & Leadership: Highly motivated, organized, and capable of operating with a high degree of trust to make decisions and independently drive complex projects.
• Resilience & Curiosity: Eager to tackle new and challenging problems in a collaborative way, with an open, curious, and inquiring mindset.
• Results-Driven: Strong internal motivation and high standards, with the ability to gather and communicate key insights.
• A bilingual (English/French) candidate is a bonus for this role
• Experience with graphic design programs is a big bonus
