Responsibilities
Serve as the primary on-the-ground liaison in Canada, building and maintaining strong relationships across the local entertainment landscape, agency partners, and talent representatives.
Develop and execute social marketing strategies for regional productions and featured releases, tailoring campaign plans, tone-of-voice, and creative content to specific digital platforms.
Manage content calendars, provide creative direction, and oversee production, including managing social content shoots with talent when applicable.
Utilize internal and external social analytics to measure performance, run creative testing, and continuously optimize future campaign strategies.
Drive social-first content creation that fosters fan communities, enhances brand loyalty, and connects with current cultural trends.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience leading social or digital marketing initiatives, ideally within entertainment, gaming, sports, or digital media.
Deep expertise in the Canadian entertainment landscape, local market nuances, and audience dynamics.
Comprehensive understanding of social-first content creation, platform-specific strategies, and digital community growth.
Professional fluency in both English and French (written and spoken).
Strong analytical mindset with a track record of using data and metrics to refine campaign performance and creative execution.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with extensive experience pitching and presenting ideas.
