Position
We are looking for an experienced backend engineer to join our high-performance team. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to complex problems and taking ownership of projects. You will be joining a team of engineers who are building accounting software integrations and plugins that are changing the definition of corporate banking applications.
Key Responsibilities
5+ years of experience as a software developer, with 4+ years working with Java 17 and above.
4+ years of experience with databases, including relational (Postgres) and non-relational (MongoDB).
Experience with Unit, Integration, and Performance testing.
Experience integrating external APIs efficiently.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of modern cloud technologies like AWS.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice to have: experience with observability tools (Honeycomb, Datadog), startup experience, knowledge of frontend technologies (React/Javascript), and experience with bank integrations (SFTP or APIs).
