Key Skills:
7+ years of experience as a software developer.
4+ years working with Java (Java 17 and above).
4+ years of experience with databases - relational (Postgres) and non-relational (MongoDB).
Testing experience using Unit/Integration/Performance tests.
Experience integrating external APIs efficiently.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of modern cloud technologies such as AWS.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working with observability tools like Honeycomb or Datadog is a plus.
Previous experience with fintechs, banks, or accounting/ERP systems is an asset.
Startup experience is a plus.

Qualifications
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a software developer is required.

Demonstrated experience in testing methodologies, including Unit, Integration, and Performance testing, is required.
Proven experience in the efficient integration of external APIs is essential.
Comprehensive knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture is mandatory.
Familiarity with modern cloud technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS), is required.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is essential.
Experience with observability tools, such as Honeycomb or Datadog, is considered advantageous.
Prior experience within the FinTech, banking, or accounting/ERP sectors is a significant asset.
