Responsibilities
• Investigate how existing systems function to identify technical bottlenecks and the root causes of recurring issues.
• Translate business requirements into future-state architectures using serverless and microservices patterns.
• Develop transition roadmaps that outline incremental steps to move from current systems to target cloud states.
• Build working prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate the feasibility of architectural designs.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including architecture decision records and sequence diagrams.
• Write code and develop infrastructure as code templates using AWS CDK to accelerate development cycles.
• Mentor development teams on modern engineering practices and provide guidance during technical code reviews.
Qualifications
• Extensive experience designing cloud-native solutions using AWS services and managed messaging platforms.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, or Java for technical validation.
• Proven background in API-first integration strategies and event-driven architecture design.
• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
