Responsibilities
Current-State Assessment: Audit and assess the existing multi-site application architecture, on-premises hardware stacks (servers), system configurations, and network topologies.
Fit-Gap & Performance Analysis: Proactively identify system performance bottlenecks, architectural risks, and scalability limitations across high-volume environments to perform comprehensive fit-gap evaluations.
Target Architecture Design: Define the future-state target architecture, detailing optimal hardware/software configurations, scalability improvements, and deployment models.
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with cross-functional business lines and technical teams to deeply understand complex workflows, system usage patterns, and localized site challenges.
Migration Strategy: Provide expert, data-driven input into the macro migration strategy, risk mitigation plans, and the high-level technical implementation approach.
Technical Documentation: Translate complex infrastructure and software findings into clear, structured architectural diagrams, runbooks, and briefings tailored for both technical engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven, progressive experience operating as a Solutions Architect within complex, multi-site enterprise environments.
Software Engineering Core: Solid professional background working with C#, .NET, and SQL Server (or equivalent enterprise relational databases).
System Scales: Extensive experience designing, evaluating, or maintaining distributed applications and high-volume systems.
Infrastructure Savvy: Demonstrated experience reviewing physical infrastructure, server hardware requirements, and localized network configurations.
Soft Skills: Superior analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities. A self-directed professional who thrives with minimal supervision and proactively hunts down technical details.
