Responsibilities
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services:
•Perform a comprehensive analysis of the existing application integration architecture within the client's Datacentre
•Collaborate with the team to gather requirements and identify constraints related to decommissioning activities for vacating the Datacentre
•Develop a sequence that addresses the identified requirements and constraints
•Provide recommendations for technology platforms, hardware and software components that can be repurposed from the Datacentre
•Develop a detailed deployment activity document that includes diagrams, descriptions, and other relevant documentation
•Coordinate the efforts to establish, define, maintain and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards and best practices
•Assist with the decommission planning for the client’s solutions while adhering to the architectural standards and collaborating with operational teams
•Perform technical scope of work by analyzing requirements and solution architecture to determine systems requirements for decommissioning of assets at the Datacentre
•Analyzes existing business processes and data flows to develop system designs, delivery roadmaps and integrations to other systems
•Prepare detailed specifications for the decommissioning and disconnection of various solution components and make recommendations on acquisitions, licensing, and their related costs
•Provide time estimates for decommissioning and disconnection of environments
•Other related activities and deliverables, as required
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Skills:
•University Degree or college diploma in a relevant field i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Systems Analysis or a related field or equivalent work experience
•A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience with all aspects of a project or product lifecycle from design and development to testing, implementation, and production with broad technical expertise gained through extensive experience in the IT industry
•A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated extensive technical breath through comprehensive experience in the IT industry
•Knowledge of more than one design method and at least one discipline that is at the level of solutions integrator.
Asset:
•Demonstrated experience in the banking industry and/or government organizations
