Responsibilities
- Active Directory Management: Oversee account management and security patching within an Enterprise Active Directory environment.
- Systems Administration: Set up user access and profiles, manage backup and recovery protocols, and handle day-to-day computer systems operations.
- Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform software upgrades, apply critical patches, and ensure all requested changes are implemented with minimal service disruption.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor computer workload trends and make real-time adjustments to ensure optimum utilization of computer resources.
- Network Support: Upkeep, configure, install, and support the client's network infrastructure while coordinating diverse systems and communication protocols.
- Incident Response (SWAT): Participate in "SWAT" team activities to resolve high-priority, complex technical issues within a large-scale enterprise framework.
Qualifications
- Active Directory Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Active Directory, related technologies (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy), and large-scale migration strategies.
- ITIL Experience: Proven experience working within a large, structured ITIL-based organization, specifically in troubleshooting and incident management environments.
- Systems Operations: Extensive experience in setting up user access, backup/recovery, and day-to-day operations across one or more operating systems and hardware platforms.
- Technical Infrastructure: Familiarity with middleware, gateways, and various communications protocols.
- Project Support: Demonstrated ability to support migrations and enterprise-level project transitions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
