Reporting to the Accounting Director, the Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key steward of financial integrity, leading complex reporting and cost analysis in a high-growth, hands-on environment. This position is designed for an analytical "detective" who wants to influence operational efficiency and the long-term financial roadmap.

Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and quarter-end reporting, ensuring all financial statements and reconciliations strictly adhere to ASPE.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into inventory, material, labor, and overhead variances to identify margin-expansion opportunities
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range capital planning.
- Support the strengthening of internal controls, financial policies, and tax compliance (GST/HST, VAT).
- Act as a financial advisor to supply chain and production teams to optimize costs and streamline workflows.
- Lead audit preparation and maintain high-standard documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Guide junior finance team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- CPA designation or actively pursuing (Senior CPA candidate) is required.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, with a heavy emphasis on manufacturing and cost accounting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ASPE, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., AS400, Microsoft 365 Business Central) and Advanced Excel (data modeling, Power Query, complex formulas).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-finance partners
