Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution: Spearhead every project stage, from pre-construction planning through to final handover. This includes developing and managing project schedules, scopes of work, and procurement to ensure milestones are met.
Leadership & Coordination: Provide clear direction to site teams, subcontractors, and consultants. You'll mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with design, engineering, and fabrication teams to ensure seamless execution.
Financial & Contract Oversight: Maintain strict control over project financials, including budget management, cost forecasting, and the approval of invoices and change orders. You will also support value engineering and strategic purchasing efforts.
Communication & Risk Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients and all stakeholders, leading project meetings and maintaining clear documentation. You'll be responsible for proactively identifying and mitigating project risks while ensuring full compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
A post-secondary degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a similar discipline.
A minimum of five years of project management experience in the construction industry.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex contracts and navigate permitting processes.
Proven experience working in remote or out-of-town project locations.
