Responsibilities
- Read complex structural steel blueprints involving radii, slopes, angles, and technical drawings.
- Fit heavy structural steel assemblies including round posts onto square base plates.
- Perform MIG and Metal-Core welding on heavy structural steel and aluminum.
- Obtain up to six internal CWB certifications during company-provided training.
Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Welder-Fitter in structural steel.
- Hold an active CWB 1G MIG certification at a minimum.
- Demonstrate advanced blueprint reading skills for complex structural steel layouts.
- Execute complex fit-ups independently with minimal supervision.
