Responsibilities
-Provide comprehensive on-site leadership and technical direction for all construction phases and site personnel.
-Oversee and implement the standardized production system to optimize site logistics and workflow efficiency.
-Continuously monitor and manage the project budget, tracking financial forecasting to the individual cost type and phase code levels to identify potential gains or losses.
-Ensure strict compliance with all project contracts, design specifications, and client requirements.
-Manage, coordinate, and inspect the performance of all sub-trades, providing regular performance feedback.
-Account for all company tools and equipment on site, coordinating maintenance and supply logistics.
Qualifications
-Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Superintendent for a general contractor specializing in commercial construction.
-Five (5) or more years of overall experience within the large-scale commercial construction sector.
-Proven track record managing projects for governmental or large institutional clients.
-Possession of a recognized Journeyman trade certification or equivalent field experience.
-Technical diploma in a related field and/or a Gold Seal Certification (GSC) are highly valued assets.
