What You'll Do 

As a General Labor - Support Technician, you'll be at the heart of mill operations, helping to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

• Assist operations teams with daily production and support activities 

• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions 

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with mill housekeeping standards 

• Remove scrap, broke, and waste materials from production areas 

• Assist with plant cleaning, sweeping, and debris removal 

• Support recycling and waste management processes 

• Assist maintenance personnel with equipment cleaning and other non-technical support tasks 

• Support various departments as operational needs arise 

• Perform general labor duties to support mill operations 

• Work overtime, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required 

Safety & Compliance 

• Follow all mill safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, and PPE requirements 

• Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives 

• Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents promptly 

• Comply with environmental regulations and proper material handling requirements 

• Help maintain Greenpac's commitment to a safe, environmentally responsible workplace 

Your Strengths as a General Labor - Support Technician 

You are a strong fit for this role if you have: 

• High school diploma or GED preferred 

• Forklift certification, or ability to obtain certification 

• Previous manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or production experience preferred 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment 

• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment, moving machinery, noise, and heat 

• Strong work ethic and reliability 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Flexibility to support changing operational priorities 

• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
