This is a 3-month contract role offering a hybrid work model based in Toronto. You will be part of a focused team working on device upgrades and the rollout of modern management tools, playing a key role in two impactful technology projects.

Responsibilities
• Provide systems administration and daily operations support including user access, profiles, backups, and recoveries
• Install, patch, and upgrade Windows 10/11 operating systems on end-user laptops
• Deploy applications such as antivirus software and Adobe tools across multiple devices
• Assist with the transition from Ivanti to Microsoft Intune for device management
• Collaborate with the team on hardware refresh projects and MS 365 Defender deployments
• Monitor workload trends and optimize resource utilization
• Support help desk operations and resolve end-user technical issues
• Manage assets using inventory tracking tools like Ivanti or Microsoft’s systems
Qualifications
• Strong experience administering Windows 10 and 11 systems, including patching and upgrades
• Hands-on experience with MS 365 Intune and Defender for device deployment
• Solid understanding of Dell and HP hardware platforms
• Proficiency in deploying and configuring end-user applications
• Familiarity with IT asset management tools and help desk environments
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Experience with backup and recovery processes and user account setups
• Awareness of AODA compliance standards is an asset

• Experience with distributed or networked systems and infrastructure
• Familiarity with scripting or basic programming languages for automation tasks
• Awareness of emerging IT trends and technologies in endpoint management and system security
