Our client is looking for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist:
📍 Location: Toronto
🗓️ Duration: 10-month contract
💻 Working Model: Hybrid — 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Responsibilities
•Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test scripts across all testing phases: functional, non-functional, regression, performance, load, and UAT
•Plan and organize testing efforts for both GUI and non-GUI systems, including complex integrations and system-level testing
•Create and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium and Postman
•Perform accessibility testing and ensure alignment with AODA standards
•Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
•Work closely with cross-functional teams to validate business requirements and resolve defects
•Lead defect tracking and resolution using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA
•Mentor junior testers and contribute to team growth and testing process maturity
Qualifications
•10+ years of QA/testing experience in enterprise IT environments
•Strong manual testing and test automation expertise
•Hands-on experience in test automation development and planning
•Proven knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
•Strong command of test strategy design and end-to-end testing
•Experience with accessibility testing (AODA compliance)
•Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on teamwork
•Proficiency with testing tools: Selenium, Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner, Azure DevOps, JIRA
•Strong SQL and database validation experience (SQL Server, Oracle)
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git/GitLab
•Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus
🌟 Nice to Have:
•Experience testing COTS applications
•Background in scripting or programming
•Familiarity with object-oriented testing approaches
•Prior work in regulated, high-compliance environments
