Our client is seeking a Systems Testing/QA Specialist for a 10-month contract with the possibility of a one-time extension. The role follows a hybrid model with 3 days onsite at the Toronto office and 2 days remote per week.

Responsibilities
âą Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
âą Conduct manual and automated testing across GUI and non-GUI environments
âą Perform system integration, regression, performance, and load testing
âą Use tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner, and Azure DevOps
âą Ensure AODA compliance through accessibility testing and reporting
âą Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers on QA efforts
âą Track and manage defects through tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps
âą Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and test automation frameworks
âą Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-deployment
âą Prepare documentation including test strategies, reports, logs, and test data
Qualifications
Must Have:
âą 10+ years of experience in software testing for enterprise systems
âą Expertise in manual and automated testing frameworks
âą Strong skills with Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or LoadRunner
âą Experience with AODA accessibility testing and compliance
âą In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
âą Proficient in creating test strategies, scripts, reports, and logs
âą Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tracking tools
âą Hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle, and database validation
âą Strong understanding of QA best practices, SDLC, and test coverage
Nice to Have:
âą Knowledge of cloud environments like Azure or AWS
âą Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitLab)
âą Programming or scripting knowledge for automated test cases
âą Understanding of security testing and OPS QA standards
