Responsibilities
âą Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases, and test data for multiple testing phases (functional, integration, regression, UAT)
âą Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and SMEs to ensure full test coverage
âą Conduct system-level and non-functional testing to validate performance and stability
âą Track, document, and manage defects using Kanban/DevOps tools
âą Participate in and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts
âą Validate technical and business functionality across both legacy and evergreen systems
âą Ensure compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards
âą Analyze legacy systems to support accurate regression testing post-build
âą Contribute to the testing strategy for systems hosted both on-prem and in the cloud
âą Document results, perform root cause analysis, and support test reporting for stakeholders
Qualifications
Must Have:
âą 5+ years experience in quality assurance and testing practices
âą Proven ability to create test strategies, plans, cases, and technical test data
âą Experience with regression, functional, system integration, and non-functional testing
âą Strong understanding of SDLC and DevOps/Kanban defect tracking processes
âą Hands-on experience supporting and executing UAT in collaboration with business teams
âąAbility to work independently in fast-paced and complex system environments
Nice to Have:
đ§Ș Knowledge of automated testing tools and ability to code test scripts
đ Experience with structured software development and QA methodologies
đ Experience testing in data-sensitive or government-regulated environments
đ Familiarity with accessibility testing (WCAG/AODA standards)
đ» Knowledge of programming fundamentals or at least one programming language
đ§ Understanding of Information Management (IM) principles and policies
