Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Assist in developing comprehensive test strategies and preparing test cases, scripts, and regression scenarios for complex software solutions.
- End-to-End Execution: Perform functional and non-functional testing, including specialized areas such as Accessibility, data integrity, and system performance (stress/load).
- Defect Management: Reconcile, record, and track system defects and break/fixes identified during unit and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using collaborative tracking tools.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a central point of contact between Project Managers, Test Leads, and Developers to maintain application quality and ensure alignment with delivery timelines.
- Data Validation: Utilize database queries (e.g., SQL) to extract data and verify backend system accuracy and data migration success.
- Knowledge Transfer: Document all technology designs, lessons learned, and best practices on shared repositories to ensure long-term operational sustainability.
Qualifications
- Seniority: 8+ years of progressive QA experience, including leadership roles within QA teams.
- SDLC Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
- Technical Stack: Experience with technologies such as SharePoint, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, and Cloud-based (SaaS) applications.
- Testing Proficiencies: Demonstrated expertise in regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for enterprise-scale solutions.
- Tools: Knowledge of automated testing tools and version control systems across multiple platforms.
- Accessibility: Working knowledge of AODA standards and related testing methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to present complex defect data and migration strategies to executive stakeholders.
