Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of comprehensive test strategies, test plans, scenarios, and scripts for both functional and regression testing.
- Perform a wide range of testing activities, including functional, non-functional, system integration, data testing, and stress/load testing.
- Execute AODA testing to ensure solution compliance.
- Reconcile, record, and track system defects and "break/fixes" identified during unit and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Facilitate UAT sessions with clients and work closely with technical teams to ensure effective resolution of defects and change requests.
- Provide periodic status reports and present test data, defect metrics, and migration strategies to executives and stakeholders.
- Document and share technology designs, lessons learned, and best practices with the project team throughout the assignment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of demonstrated QA experience, specifically in defect tracking and management within collaborative environments.
- Proficiency with technologies such as Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, and SharePoint.
- Strong experience in Test Management, including the creation of Test Plans, Scenarios, and Execution Reports.
- Hands-on experience with Defect Life Cycle management and triage using collaborative tools.
- Ability to extract and retrieve data using database queries (SQL) for data validation.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and version control systems across multiple platforms.
