We are currently seeking experienced Tank Cleaners to join our team for a high-priority, 4+ week turnaround project in Gretna, Manitoba. This role is physically demanding and requires personnel who are comfortable working inside storage tanks (confined space) for the duration of the shift under supplied air and respirators.
Because of the critical nature of confined space communication and the specialized safety protocols on site, impeccable verbal English proficiency is a mandatory safety requirement for this project.

Responsibilities
Perform continuous, heavy-duty tank cleaning and maintenance inside the tank for the entirety of the shift.
Operate safely under supplied air (breathing apparatus) and respirators in strictly regulated confined spaces.
Maintain clear, instant, and precise radio and verbal communication with the safety watch and onsite supervisors.
Execute technical instructions flawlessly to mitigate hazards in a high-risk environment.
Ensure all specialized PPE, gas monitors, and breathing equipment are meticulously maintained and tracked.
Qualifications
Critical Safety Requirement: Due to the complex nature of under-air communication inside the tanks, candidates must possess flawless English language proficiency. The ability to instantly understand, articulate, and execute rapid-fire safety commands is non-negotiable for the safety of the entire crew.
Mandatory Certifications: Valid Confined Space Entry (CSE), Common Safety Orientation (CSO), CSTS, First Aid, WHMIS, and H2S Alive tickets.
Mask Fit Requirements: Must hold current, valid mask fit certificates for Scott AV 3000/2000 and 3M full-face respirators.
Experience: Proven experience in heavy industrial tank cleaning is required. Backgrounds in catalyst handling/changing or specialized hazardous material reclamation are considered a major asset.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work strenuous 12-hour shifts completely under supplied air within confined spaces.
Compliance: Must be able to pass a comprehensive pre-access Drug & Alcohol screening.
