Responsibilities
•Prepare working papers for T2, T5013, and T106 filings.
•Prepare and file T2 corporate tax returns and T5013 partnership returns, including Quebec and Alberta equivalents where applicable.
•Prepare and file information returns including T106, T5, T4A-NR, T4A, and NR4 forms.
•Reconcile and file sales tax (GST, QST, PST) and withholding tax (NR4s).
•Produce journal entries related to tax activities.
•Assist with Corporate Income Tax (CIT) provisions.
•Support ad-hoc tax and accounting projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
•Proven experience preparing and filing T2 and T5013 returns using Wolters Kluwer’s Tax Prep and Tax Forms applications.
•Strong familiarity with relevant tax schedules (1–6, 8, 9, 13, etc.).
•Excellent understanding of local tax jurisdictions, accounting principles, and legal frameworks.
•Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
•Strong communication and organizational skills.
•Experience with EIFEL calculations and completion of Schedule 130 of the T2 return.
•Experience with GST/QST/PST filing processes.
•Experience filing T106, T5, T4A-NR, T4A, and NR4 returns.
