Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with the supervisory team to manage and prepare daily customer orders.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing customer orders and delegating tasks to meet deadlines.
- Assisting with the gathering and preparation of products for packing and shipping.
- Ensuring your team has the necessary materials to pack orders efficiently.
- Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the picking process.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent.
ABLE TO LIFT 50LBS
The ability to maintain a professional attitude in a demanding work environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
A willingness to work flexible hours based on production demands.
Experience working with a diverse workforce.
Technical aptitude to navigate an ERP system; experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
Previous warehouse or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
Summary
This is a physically demanding role. You must be able to lift items weighing up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse and greenhouse environment with fluctuating temperatures and humidity. You will also need to walk on various surfaces, including concrete and loose stone, and navigate around irrigation pipes.
