In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the modernization of our client's insurance platforms. You will be responsible for supervising the policy conversion team as they conduct the accurate migration of policies from legacy systems into the new environment, ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations and maintaining high standards of underwriting integrity.
This is a dynamic leadership position that requires a balance of people management, operational oversight, and hands-on technical support. You will be the driving force behind team productivity, quality assurance, and the continuous improvement of the conversion processes.

Hours of operation - Mon to Fri, Rotational shifts between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm (up to 7.25 hours per day i.e. up to 36.25 hours per week)
Salary - 46.10/hr

Responsibilities
Supervise a personal lines conversion team responsible for executing assigned policy conversion activities
Distribute and track workloads across the team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks related to policy conversion
Monitor internal support queue for adherence to established SLA’s and interactions
Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day questions, blockers, or escalations from team members
Support hands-on conversion efforts as needed, including policy validation, exception handling, and system update
Ensure adherence to defined conversion processes, SOPs, and internal controls
Review work completed by the team for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all policy transactions and interactions
Proactively identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements to the Manager
Identify, implement, and support continuous process improvements to drive increased productivity, efficiency, employee experience, and customer satisfaction
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by consistently challenging traditional ways of thinking
Onboard new team members and provide ongoing training on systems, tools, policy workflows, and product knowledge
Develop or contribute to training documentation, job aids, and reference materials to support team effectiveness
Reinforce compliance with regulatory requirements, business rules, and service standards during all conversion activities
Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on policy conversion priorities and issue resolution
Provide regular updates to the Manager on progress and issues impacting policy conversion
Participate in team meetings, testing cycles, or validation efforts as required
Qualifications
Experience: 5 years plus of proven experience in P&C Insurance (Personal Lines) and underwriting guidelines.
Previous experience in a Team Lead or Senior Supervisory role is preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of policy administration platforms (e.g., Guidewire), and legacy system migration.
Project Knowledge: Experience with policy conversion, data migration, or system integration projects is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong analytical skills for quality review, excellent communication skills for training, and the ability to manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
