Responsibilities
• Proactively identify and close new business opportunities to build a robust book of business in Calgary.
• Manage the full commercial relationship for a portfolio of clients, ensuring high retention and growth.
• Conduct discovery sessions to align client business challenges with technical solution offerings.
• Build and maintain a predictable sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasts to leadership.
• Lead in-person meetings and site visits to maintain a strong, trust-based presence with local clients.
• Drive the renewal and expansion process, identifying "white space" for additional services and upgrades.
• Develop professional quotes, Statements of Work (SOW), and compelling RFP responses.
• Stay current on industry trends and technical updates to provide informed, consultative advice.
• Coordinate with technical delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation.
• Negotiate complex contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain high CRM hygiene, tracking all activities, communications, and deal stages.
• Represent the company as a brand ambassador at industry events and networking functions.
Qualifications
• 7–10 years of experience in B2B sales or account management within IT or professional services.
• Proven success in building and maintaining a significant book of business.
• Technical background or previous experience selling Microsoft-based or MSP solutions is highly preferred.
• Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly to maintain credibility with clients.
• Strong network within the Calgary business community.
• Proficiency with modern CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics 365).
• Valid driver’s license for local travel to client sites.
