Responsibilities
•Direct and lead a team of tool designers, providing guidance and technical mentorship.
•Manage the entire tool design process, ensuring efficiency and quality.
•Provide expert technical support to resolve design and manufacturing issues as they arise.
•Utilize feedback from the molding process to implement improvements in design.
•Drive and support process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing and design departments.
•Oversee the use of various software for mold flow analysis to optimize production.
•Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to align technical strategies with business goals.
•Ensure all designs and processes adhere to the company’s ISO 13485 certification standards.
•Act as a technical liaison for clients, ensuring their design requirements are met.
•Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in silicon injection molding.
Qualifications
What you bring:
•A bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory.
•Minimum of 15 years of experience in a design-related role.
•At least 10 years of experience in a leadership position.
•Extensive knowledge of tool manufacturing and molding processes.
•Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
•Proven experience with various mold flow analysis software.
•Demonstrated ability to technically support the resolution of design and manufacturing issues.
•A track record of successfully incorporating molding feedback into design improvements.
•Strong understanding of quality management systems, particularly ISO 13485.
