Operating across multiple functional domains, geographic regions, and implementation partners, you will establish integrated program structures, bridge technical engineering and business outcomes, manage critical path dependencies, and institute rigorous governance frameworks. You will comfortably navigate between executive-level strategy and deep technical discussions with architects and engineers—converting complex, ambiguous requirements into synchronized plans, actionable milestones, and dependable technical execution.
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Full-time engagement; multi-year roadmap extending through 2027)
Advantages
Flagship Enterprise Transformation Scope: Lead the technical orchestration for a multi-year, mission-critical modernization roadmap impacting global business functions.
12-Month Stable Consulting Horizon: Secure a foundational 1-year contract supporting a sustained transformation program planned through 2027.
Executive & Architectural Visibility: Partner directly with enterprise architects, principal engineers, and C-suite/VP steering committees to drive high-impact technical trade-offs.
Cross-Functional & Multi-Region Influence: Direct diverse delivery teams, global implementation partners, and cross-functional business stakeholders across North America and international time zones.
Responsibilities
Integrated Program Plan Engineering: Architect and maintain the master technical delivery plan connecting scope, critical-path sequencing, platform dependencies, test environments, data migration, APIs, security reviews, cutover execution, and post-go-live stabilization.
Program Governance & Steering: Establish formal program governance models, decision rights, escalation pathways, and executive status dashboards to maintain transparent visibility into program health and delivery velocity.
Cross-Functional Orchestration: Align and drive collaboration across product, enterprise architecture, software engineering, cybersecurity, data engineering, finance, procurement, and organizational change enablement teams.
Technical Risk & RAID Management: Proactively identify, track, and remediate technical and delivery risks, including integration readiness, system bottlenecks, non-functional requirements, technical debt, and environment contention.
Partner & Vendor Governance: Manage external system integrators (SIs) and software vendor deliverables against Statements of Work (SOWs), acceptance criteria, and project schedules.
Cutover & Transition to Sustainment: Lead coordinated end-to-end integration testing, rehearsal cutovers, deployment readiness assessments, operational runbook development, and seamless handover to steady-state operations.
Qualifications
Technical Program Experience: 6–10 years of progressive professional experience in technical program management, technology consulting, or technical delivery leadership within enterprise-scale environments.
Large-Scale Transformation Track Record: Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-workstream technology delivery programs involving new platform implementations and legacy modernizations.
Deep Systems Literacy: Strong technical understanding of how modern enterprise SaaS architectures, APIs, microservices, cloud environments, data flows, and identity/security controls intersect.
Complex Sequencing & Planning: Proven expertise developing integrated technical project schedules with multi-platform dependencies and critical-path constraints.
Stakeholder & Executive Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex architectural trade-offs into clear business decisions for steering committees.
Delivery Frameworks: Practical experience orchestrating delivery across hybrid, Agile (Scrum/SAFe), and stage-gated methodologies.
Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience; Project Management Professional (PMP), PgMP, or equivalent program management certification is strongly preferred.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
