Guaranteed First-Year Transition Bonus: A $10,000 structured performance bonus, with 80% guaranteed and distributed monthly across your first 12 months to support your territory ramp-up period.
Lucrative Long-Term Commissions: Uncapped variable commission structures taking effect in your second year as project specifications hit the market.
Premium Tools & Allowances: Company truck, corporate gas card, cell phone, laptop, and a dedicated corporate expense account provided from day one.
Generous Paid Time Off: 3 weeks of standard annual vacation plus an additional 8–10 days of fully paid company time off during the winter shutdown between Christmas and New Year's.
Comprehensive Health & Wellness: Customizable Sun Life flex-benefit security package available after 3 months of employment.
Retirement Planning: Corporate 4% matching RRSP program starting after 700 hours of service.
Elite Training Programs: Continuous learning supported by dedicated corporate training specialists, featuring annual fully-funded technical product summits and team networking events in Eastern Canada.
Responsibilities
Nurture, protect, and scale an established portfolio of commercial accounts, managing roughly 80% account management and 20% active business development.
Deliver seamless cross-functional teamwork alongside dedicated local Architectural Specification Reps and Field Technical Reps to protect product footprints from design to installation.
Conduct confident commercial negotiations and maintain close partnerships with major regional building material distribution centers to coordinate project delivery.
Act as an active field presence throughout Edmonton and Northern Alberta, averaging approximately 5 field/site client visits per day.
Utilize Salesforce CRM to log site visits, maintain project histories, track construction development cycles, and manage pipeline details.
Coordinate technical support and certified field training sessions for installation sub-contractors on site to ensure flawless quality assurance.
Qualifications
Experience Required: 3 to 5 years of successful B2B sales experience within industrial channels, OR a strong background in commercial construction management, estimation, or field supervision combined with an eager willingness to learn.
Technical Aptitude: Fundamental structural understanding of commercial construction workflows, technical drawings, or building envelope dynamics. Please note: Experience in below-grade water proofing, foundation insulation, or wall panel assemblies is highly valued; candidates with strictly roofing experience will not be prioritized.
Operational Autonomy: Exceptional time-management skills and self-motivation to manage high field volume across a remote territory without requiring micromanagement.
Relational Integrity: Polished interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills tailored to building trust with diverse commercial construction stakeholders.
Mobility Requirements: Must possess a valid, clean driver’s license suitable for territorial road travel across the province.
