Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Develop, write, and maintain high quality documentation.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of documentation templates, standards, and best practices.
Responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard.
Identify, within the team, instances of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.
Review and refine documentation to ensure it remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with evolving systems, processes, and organizational standards.
Ensure documentation is consistent, clear, and aligned with standards and governance frameworks.
Ensure all documents meet quality, accessibility, and compliance standards.
Maintain version control and documentation repositories.
Support audit readiness by ensuring documentation is complete, current, and well-organized.
Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Apply an analytical approach to documentation by identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and ambiguities, and proactively collaborating with stakeholders to improve clarity and support optimal solution outcomes.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Computer Science or Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, or similar documentation-focused role.
Strong experience writing technical and business documentation for IT projects.
