You will be responsible for the deployment of new technology devices that empower users across the company. Your responsibilities may range from pre-provisioning laptops, ship new technology hardware to remote users and retail locations, ensure users have received a functioning device, assisting users in new device start-up and disposing of end-of-life assets. This position will work with Technology Operations teams specializing in either Retail Technology or Corporate Endpoint Technology.
Advantages
This role is based out of North Vancouver and requires you to be in office 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
1) Unboxing and setup of new technology hardware, including but not limited to laptops, tablets, cellphones, printers and networking hardware
2) Pre-provisioning and profile setup of new technology hardware
3) Coordinating the shipment and setup of new technology hardware to remote users
4) Coordinating the on-site installations of new technology hardware
5) Supporting the users in the start-up of new technology hardware
6) Maintaining accurate asset inventory within the ITAM system
7) Disposing of end-of-life technology hardware
Qualifications
1) You have very strong customer service and communication skills
2) You have 2+ years servicing and deploying endpoints at medium to large-scale enterprises
3) You have 2+ years of experience with administering device management platforms such as Intune and JAMF. Must have Intune experience.
4) You have a strong understanding of Group Policy, AD, Azure AD
5) You have experience with forecasting and reporting on device usages
6) You are effective in going to the root of the right problem
7) You have an evolution mindset, understanding trends in how users utilize their devices
8) You have strong written and verbal communication skills
9) You are extremely organized with the ability to manage and organize documentation
10) You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
11) You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
12) You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
13) You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
14) You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
