Responsibilities
Conduct inspection and auditing of received materials, in-process items, and final products (sheet metal and electro-mechanical assemblies)
Use precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, Laser QC) to perform first-article and in-process inspections
Perform product and process audits, documenting and reporting findings
Maintain all quality records related to inspection activities
Identify, record, and control non-conforming materials (internal and external)
ISO 9001 Quality Management System
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in quality assurance or a manufacturing-related role
Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Experience in metrology and using various inspection/testing equipment
Preferred: experience in mechanical/electronic assembly and sheet metal manufacturing in a contract manufacturing setting
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
