Responsibilities
- Lead a team of testing professionals in providing a broad range of test services and solutions.
- Proactively engage with all stakeholders, including project team members and third-party vendors, to deliver all phases of testing.
- Provide input to and review project Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Entry/Exit criteria.
- Manage, create, and deliver testing plans that align with the chosen SDLC for the project.
- Lead the team in planning, preparing, and executing effective test efforts across multiple releases.
- Serve as the primary liaison for testing resources and business participants on user acceptance test support.
- Manage and support the QA team in creating reusable test assets for both manual and automated test scripts.
- Monitor, assess, and mitigate testing risks; track testing progress.
- Manage the defect process, ensuring defects are documented, tracked, and reported for timely fixes.
- Ensure timely notification of issues and make recommendations for resolution to the project team.
- Report the status of test planning, defects, and execution activities using quality metrics.
- Prioritize testing tasks based on project goals and risks to ensure milestones are completed as scheduled.
- Lead the continuous, measured improvement of testing processes, strategies, plans, and frameworks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in an SAP as a Quality Assurance Lead/Manager or similar role.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an SAP project environment with at least five project implementations delivered.
- Expert knowledge of business processes in Supply Chain, Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Retail, and WMS is considered an asset.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of diverse functional groups.
- Strong analytical and technical investigation skills.
- Experience with Test Management Tools; experience with Jira is considered an asset.
- Experience in test integration and project management.
