Responsibilities
•Analyze specifications and design injection moulding tools to improve efficiency and performance.
•Work closely with the production team to gather feedback and implement tool improvements.
•Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, or grinders, to shape parts to precise dimensions.
•Verify the dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
•Visualize and compute the dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of assemblies based on provided specifications.
•Collaborate with the technical director and other team members to ensure the successful execution of projects.
•Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
What You Bring
•A Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering
•Strong knowledge of engineering principles and mechanical design.
•Excellent problem-solving abilities, including the ability to identify and resolve issues with tools and processes.
•Solid verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report findings.
•Proficiency in using CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for at least 5 years.
•Experience with Mold Flow analysis software.
•Strong attention to detail, dependability, and persistence in completing tasks to a high standard.
•Ability to work independently and show initiative while also being a cooperative team player.
