This is a high-impact role within a cross-functional team, focusing on elevating brand presence across wholesale and retail environments. This contract role will have you working onsite in Vaughan at this company's Canadian headquarters.
As the Manager of Trade Marketing, you will be the driving force behind seasonal marketing programs for key retail partners. You will act as a vital link between Sales, Merchandising, and Digital teams to ensure the brand stands out both online and in-store for their running and soccer product lines. This role requires a blend of creative disruption and disciplined project management to drive sell-through and brand heat.

Responsibilities
Account Strategy: Develop seasonal account plans and deliverable lists in collaboration with sales and merchandising teams.
Activation Leadership: Lead the development and execution of all marketing activations, focusing on in-store communications (ISC), retail events, and digital/social integrations.
Media Coordination: Partner with retail accounts and internal digital teams to brief and launch effective paid media programs.
Project Management: Own timelines and communications for account plans; proactively mitigate delays and hold stakeholders accountable to deadlines.
Budget Oversight: Manage annual and program-specific budgets, ensuring a balance between creative impact and spending efficiency.
Compliance & Administration: Manage financial workflows, including estimates and P.O. generation and ensure all initiatives align with the Global Brand Calendar.
Qualifications
Strategic Marketing Background: Proven experience managing trade or retail marketing programs, ideally within a wholesale or brand-led environment.
Project Management Prowess: Ability to juggle multiple timelines, manage complex budgets, and lead cross-functional stakeholders.
Creative Thinking: A track record of developing "disruptive" marketing activations that drive consumer engagement.
Technical Aptitude: Comfort using internal procurement systems and digital marketing tools to track performance and spend.
Communication Skills: Strong ability to advocate for account needs while maintaining alignment with global brand standards.
