This is a 6-month contract, which requires the talent to work onsite 2 days per week at our client's office in downtown Toronto. Previous experience in the banking industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
• Translate complex concepts into intuitive and engaging user experiences
• Develop future-state and near-term cross-channel design strategies
• Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and design specifications
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and observational studies
• Present and communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and clients
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure design fidelity
• Stay informed about emerging UX trends and best practices
Qualifications
• Expertise in Figma and proficiency with Axure and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of web and mobile technologies
• Demonstrated ability to advocate for the user throughout the project lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback
• Strong visual design portfolio showcasing attention to detail and user-centered problem solving
• Experience in sketching, prototyping, and iterating on design concepts
• Experience in financial services or FI-related projects
• Degree in Design or a related field (e.g., Visual Design, HCI, Psychology, Human Factors, Design Strategy, Industrial Design)
