Our client, a prominent national financial Crown corporation, is seeking a UX/UI Content Designer to support their digital product delivery teams. In this role, you will apply established enterprise UX content standards to customer-facing web applications, portals, dashboards, and self-service flows. You will collaborate closely with product designers, product owners, developers, accessibility partners, and translation teams to write interface copy that is clear, consistent, translatable, and fully accessible.

Responsibilities
- UX Copywriting & Content Delivery: Write, review, and refine interface content across digital flows, including CTAs, button labels, helper text, inline validation, error messages, empty states, notifications, and modals.
- Plain-Language Simplification: Translate complex financial, legal, eligibility, and operational requirements into clear, task-focused microcopy that helps users navigate seamlessly.
- Accessibility & Inclusive Design: Apply accessible content standards (accessible names, instructions, screen-reader link text, status messages) using governed naming libraries.
- Design System & Content Standards: Apply enterprise content guidelines and terminology standards to ensure consistency across product streams, escalating one-off exceptions when necessary.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Embed within product teams to review Figma files, copy decks, Azure DevOps user stories, and acceptance criteria to spot content risks early.
- Bilingual Readiness: Draft clear English source copy that is translatable and resilient in responsive UI layouts, partnering with French review teams for conceptual parity.
Qualifications
- UX Content Experience: recent years of dedicated UX writing / content design experience for web applications, digital products, or portals.
- Product Delivery Track Record: Supported copy creation/review for a minimum of 2 digital products (labels, instructions, notifications, error states).
- Information Simplification: Successfully completed at least 2 projects simplifying complex financial, legal, technical, policy, or operational content into intuitive digital copy.
- Accessibility Integration: Applied accessibility standards (screen-reader labels, plain language, inclusive naming) on at least 1 digital product project.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork: Worked on at least 2 projects as part of a multidisciplinary product team (alongside UX designers, Product Owners, Developers, or Accessibility Leads). - Standards Application: Completed a project applying enterprise content style guides, design systems, or reusable UI content patterns.
- Assets & Preferred Skills: Experience in financial services, insurance, government, or regulated corporate environments.
- Experience supporting bilingual digital products and working with translation or localization partners.
- Hands-on experience working with Figma, Azure DevOps, and component-based design systems.
