Responsibilities
Set up and operate veneer cutting machines according to specifications
Measure, trim, and cut veneer sheets with precision and accuracy
Inspect materials for quality, defects, or inconsistencies
Maintain clean and organized work area, following safety protocols
Work with production team to meet daily and weekly output targets
Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues
Guillotine machine
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience operating veneer cutting equipment
Strong understanding of veneer grain, thickness, and quality standards
High attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production environment
CSA-approved steel toe boots required
