Responsibilities
Production Planning: Collaborate with the creative team to define project objectives, develop storyboards, and manage shoot schedules.
On-Site Filming: Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage at various locations, including industrial and construction environments.
Technical Direction: Direct talent and subjects on-camera to ensure natural and effective delivery of key messages.
Post-Production: Edit raw footage into compelling videos, applying color correction, sound balancing, and light motion graphics.
Final Delivery: Integrate music, subtitles, and closed captioning; deliver final assets in various formats optimized for multiple platforms.
Asset Management: Organize and archive video files systematically to ensure data integrity and easy retrieval.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in video production or a related field, specifically within a corporate environment.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in camera operation, lighting, and sound recording, paired with mastery of professional video editing software.
Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to film safely and effectively at construction or industrial worksites.
Storytelling Ability: A strong portfolio that showcases your ability to bring complex ideas to life through visual media.
Logistics: Must possess a valid passport and be available for travel within Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
Equipment: Must provide and maintain your own professional-grade filming and editing equipment.
Soft Skills: Strong time-management and communication skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
