Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be the heartbeat of our warehouse, ensuring goods move smoothly from the truck to the shelf and out to our customers.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload containers and move products.
Shipping & Receiving: Match incoming products to packing slips, perform data entry, and organize stock. You’ll also research carriers to find the most cost-efficient shipping methods and prepare bills of lading.
Inventory Control: Pick, pack, weigh, and label outgoing orders. You will take ownership of your space by conducting independent cycle counts and maintaining accurate records.
Facility Care: Keep the warehouse and yard neat and tidy. This includes routine forklift maintenance checks and seasonal yard tasks like sweeping or shoveling.
Safety First: Strictly follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for yourself and your teammates.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table
Experience: 2+ years of proven warehouse experience (specifically in receiving, order picking, and shipping).
Physical Stamina: You are physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. You’re comfortable bending, crouching, climbing ladders, and working outdoors year-round.
Technical Skills: Intermediate computer skills (email/data entry) and excellent math skills for inventory accuracy.
The Extras: A positive, customer-service-oriented attitude and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification and recent experience in high-volume receiving and picking.
