Responsibilities
Department Rotation: Gain hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, and sorting.
Loading & Unloading: Safely move, load, and unload incoming and outgoing freight, cartons, and skids.
Palletizing & Staging: Build, stack, shrink-wrap, and label pallets to prepare orders for transport.
Inventory Handling: Pick, organize, and restock inventory using work orders, packing lists, and designated storage locations.
Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workstation while strictly following facility safety standards.
Qualifications
Physical Capability: Ability to comfortably lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs regularly throughout a 10-hour shift.
Safety Footwear: CSA-approved safety shoes required (composite or carbon toe highly recommended due to facility metal detectors).
Schedule Availability: Fully committed to working full-time hours for the entire 3 to 4-month contract duration.
Background Check: Ability to pass a standard criminal background check.
Work Ethic: Strong attendance, punctuality, dependability, and a team-first attitude.
