As a Warehouse Associate, your daily routine will center around accurate order fulfillment, inventory management, and safe material handling. You will operate standard sit-down forklifts both indoors and outdoors to move, stack, and organize materials. Our clients rely heavily on the Warehouse Associate to maintain structural integrity within the warehouse, which means you will also assist with occasional counter sales, administrative order entry, customer service, and preventative equipment maintenance. This multi-faceted role ensures that no two days are exactly the same, keeping you engaged and actively developing a diverse range of skills within the dynamic sector of manufacturing & logistics.

Responsibilities
• Handle all incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of purchased products against documentation.
• Enter order receipts accurately into the internal computer database system.
• Perform quality assurance inspections on goods when appropriate to maintain high inventory standards.
• Place received materials into proper warehouse storage locations after segregating backorders.
• Relocate and consolidate warehouse material as needed and notify management of new location codes.
• Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials securely for shipment, including assemble and hold orders.
• Prepare accurate bills of lading, local delivery records, and express receipts.
• Assist in loading delivery trucks safely and completing applicable blocks on pick tickets.
• Maintain appropriate paperwork and forms pending the return of any warehouse materials.
• Inspect the condition of returned material thoroughly prior to completing return authorization forms.
• Pull stock and return it to the correct storage location pending credit memos, sales, or supplier returns.
• Clean and organize the warehouse interior, trucking bays, and outdoor parking areas regularly.
• Assemble and disassemble warehouse bins, racks, shelves, and display tables as needed.
• Administer preventative maintenance programs to delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment to ensure safety.
• Record verbal or written customer complaints regarding products or services and process them accordingly.
• Maintain and restock counter inventory levels as needed to support business continuity.
• Assist with over-the-counter sales and provide friendly service to walk-in customers.
Qualifications
• Valid Forklift Certification specifically for standard sit-down forklifts is strictly required.
• Proven experience working as a warehouse associate, material handler, or in a similar manufacturing & logistics role.
• Ability to work the full duration of the contract assignment from May 20th, 2026, to November 13th, 2026.
• Must be comfortable working in variable weather conditions, as forklift operation requires outdoor driving.
• Reliable transportation to the job location at 2223 Nicholson St S, Prince George, BC.
• Steel-toe safety boots and other standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are required
