Schedule: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
• Safely operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift and manual/electric pallet jacks to transport goods across the facility.
• Pick, pack, strap, and stage outgoing orders, verifying part numbers and serial codes against packing slips and work orders.
• Weigh packed shipments, apply proper shipping labels, and complete necessary weigh bills and transport documentation.
• Load outbound transport trailers efficiently, optimizing floor space and securing loads with metal or plastic strapping tools.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area by regularly sweeping floors, reorganizing skids, and clearing packing debris.
• Collaborate with production teams and order desk staff to track down rush orders and verify order completion stages.
• Conduct routine inventory counts, cycle checks, and stock replenishments within designated warehouse storage racks.
Qualifications
• 1–2+ years as a Warehouse Associate, Shipper/Receiver, or Material Handler in manufacturing.
• Proficient in sit-down counterbalance forklifts, manual/electric pallet jacks with valid certification.
• Strong detail orientation for reading work orders, matching serial numbers, and identifying shipping discrepancies.
• Basic math skills for calculating weights, counts, and dimensions.
• Effective written and verbal communication for coordinating with carriers, supervisors, and team members.
• Proven time management skills to consistently meet tight shipping deadlines and pickup windows.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and regularly lift/maneuver up to 50 lbs across an 8-hour shift.
• Must supply CSA-approved steel-toe boots and wear all required PPE (gloves, safety glasses).
