This position, based in North Saanich, BC, involves comprehensive warehouse operations, managing logistics and materials tasks from inbound receiving to outbound shipping. Key responsibilities include receiving shipments, processing transfers, conducting daily cycle counting, accurate order picking, kitting, shipping, and meticulously handling customs documentation. The Stores Person will also provide critical inventory support and take on additional duties as assigned by the chargehand and M&L Manager.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Breaks: Two 15-minute coffee breaks and a 30-minute lunch break
Salary: $22.50/hour or $25.12/hour
Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and customer quality requirements for all warehouse and Stores functions.
• Adhere to all regulatory and guideline manuals for the safe and efficient handling, processing, and shipping of materials within the warehouse.
• Accurately pick and issue materials according to corresponding orders, ensuring proper stock rotation and location accuracy.
• Verify orders and ensure accurate and timely shipment as per order directions and routing guidelines.
• Manage shipping for interbranch transfers (IBT), including loading and unloading of freight.
• Provide comprehensive inventory support, including locating, tracking, and organizing stock.
• Coordinate and support logistics requirements as needed, often interacting with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
• Complete any additional duties or assignments as delegated by the chargehand and/or manager, supporting overall warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications
• High school diploma
• Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Demonstrated experience with inventory support and accuracy, including cycle counting procedures.
• 2–5 years of experience in international shipping.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping dangerous goods.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving materials in a warehouse setting.
• Valid Forklift/reach truck certification is a significant asset.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP systems, with an ability to adapt to warehouse management systems (WMS).
