As a Warehouse Associate with Forklift Certification, you will play a critical role in the supply chain. Working within a fast-paced food distribution environment, your primary focus will initially be manual case picking in a refrigerated area. In this manufacturing & logistics role, you will enjoy a consistent schedule of Monday through Thursday, from 5 AM to 3 PM. This 4-day work week offers an excellent work-life balance while providing full-time hours. Because this is a food distribution center, the environment is temperature-controlled (refrigerated), ensuring high standards of food safety. Responsibilities
• Perform manual case picking of food products within a refrigerated warehouse environment.
• Operate a Walkie and Dockstocker forklift safely and efficiently to move inventory.
• Build stable pallets and wrap them securely for transport.
• Ensure accuracy in order picking to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction in the manufacturing & logistics chain.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Transition from manual labour tasks to forklift-centric duties as skills and performance are demonstrated.
• Work collaboratively with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on forklift equipment to ensure safe operation.
Qualifications
• Must possess an external Forklift License (Walkie and Dockstocker).
• Must be available for full-time, long-term work on the specified shift.
• Experience in a manufacturing & logistics or warehouse setting is preferred.
• Comfort working in a refrigerated warehouse environment.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to complete a criminal background check as part of the onboarding process.
• Access to reliable transportation to the Georgetown/Milton border area.
